USING CARIS COHEN Dx ONLINE REPORTING

Go to the Caris Cohen Dx website (www.cariscohendx.com), and click on “Online Reports”.

Caris Cohen Dx Home Page

From the Online Reports page, click on the “Online Report Viewer” button.

Online Reports Web Page

This launches the Agillaire Online Report Viewer (ORV). If the screen below does not appear, be sure the pop-up blocker on your web browser is temporarily disabled. Or, you may hold down the “Control” key on the keyboard (Ctrl bottom right or left corner of the keyboard) while you click on the “Online Reporting” button on our web page. Doing this allows the pop-up screen to appear in spite of having a pop-up blocker enabled.

When prompted for a username and password, enter this information and click “Login”.

Login Panel

NOTE: When signing into the ORV for the first time, you will be prompted to change your password. This protects the security of your password. Please commit your password to memory or make note of it in a safe place. Caris Cohen Dx cannot retrieve your password for you.

Upon signing into the ORV, a list of cases from the past five days defaults:

List of Cases

To view a report for one of the cases on the list, click on the accession number.

Select Accession No.

This launches a report in the Adobe Acrobat Viewer.

Report Viewer

If you would like to narrow down the list of reports that defaults when you sign on the ORV also has very flexible search methods. At least one of the following search criteria must be entered: Accession Number, the Patient’s Last Name, the Collection Date or the Report Date. Search criteria can also be entered into multiple fields; cases that meet all criteria will appear in the search results panel.

Search Results Panel

The Accession Number is the case number assigned by Caris Cohen Dx when the specimen arrives in the lab. This number is found at the “Specimen Number” field in the top left corner of a printed report.

If searching by Last Name, enter either a portion of, or the entire, last name.

The Collection Date refers to the date on which the biopsy was performed in your office. Enter a date range at the “From” and “To” fields. Type dates into these fields using the following date format: MM/DD/YYYY. The search will not work unless a 4-digit year is entered. To facilitate date entry for users, clicking the calendar icon pops up a handy calendar from which dates can be selected. To narrow down a search to just one day, enter the same date at both the “From” and “To” fields.

The Report Date refers to the date on which Caris Cohen Dx signed out the case. Enter a date range at the “From” and “To” fields. Type dates into these fields using the following date format: MM/DD/YYYY. The search will not work unless a 4-digit year is entered. To narrow down a search to just one day, enter the same date at both the “From” and “To” fields. Similar to the Collection Date range, a handy date selection calendar pops up when you click on the calendar icon.

After entering the necessary criteria, click on the “Search” button to execute the search.

NOTE: The availability of online reports begins from the date on which the username and password are assigned. The online report database does not contain a running history of all reports. Reports only date back to when you became an active user of the Online Report Viewer, but remain in the system indefinitely.

After executing the search, those reports that meet all criteria will appear in the results panel. The results panel displays the Accession Number, the Patient Name and the Collection Date.

Reports List

Twenty cases appear on each page of the search results panel. To jump to another page, click on one of the page numbers in the top right corner of the search results panel.

Page numbers

After finding the desired report, click on the accession number. A PDF version of the report will launch via Adobe Acrobat Viewer.

Report Viewer

From this viewing window, the report may be printed by clicking on the “Print Report” button in the top left corner of the viewing window. In addition to printing a single report, the ORV allows users to print multiple reports simultaneously. To do this, return to the search results screen by clicking on the “Back” button. Create a list of desired cases by executing a search. To print every report on the list of cases, click on the “Print All Reports” button.

Print All Reports Button

After a report has successfully printed, an icon appears adjacent to the report's Accession Number:

The ORV functions best with Adobe Acrobat 8.0 for viewing the PDFs of the reports. If your PC does not have the Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.0 software, a free download is available at the Adobe Acrobat website: www.adobe.com.
